Girls' Empowerment Mini Gala

Girls Inc. of Northern Alberta is excited to host the Girls’ Empowerment Mini-Gala on Friday, March 7, 2025, at the Unifor Building (10019 MacDonald Ave). This special evening, designed for girls ages 9-15, is an opportunity to connect, celebrate, and be inspired ahead of International Women’s Day and the Women of Inspiration Gala.

The Mini-Gala will feature an inspiring speaker, interactive leadership activities, a dance floor, a 360 photo booth, and a variety of fun food and snacks. This event is designed to empower girls with confidence, encourage self-expression, and create lasting memories.

As with all Girls Inc. of Northern Alberta programs, registration is completely free! Public registration opens on February 18, 2025 and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The dress code is “Dress Your Best”, meaning girls are encouraged to wear whatever makes them feel confident and comfortable—whether that’s a dress, traditional attire, or their favorite outfit. There is no expectation to purchase new clothing for this event.

With the success of past Mini-Galas, this event has become a highly anticipated annual experience. We look forward to welcoming participants for an evening of fun, empowerment, and celebration.
