Preference will be given to a recipient who has previously participated in the Girls Inc. of Northern Alberta Operation S.M.A.R.T Program and lives within the RMWB.
The second $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to an Indigenous young woman or someone with deep involvement in Indigenous communities, applying for or enrolled in a post-secondary school STEM program. Preference will be given to a recipient who has participated in Girls Inc. of Northern Alberta Operation SMART® and lives in the RMWB.
