How It Started
The series started in 2012, first presented by Syncrude who remains an integral partner of Girls Inc., with a goal to recognize women throughout the Wood Buffalo region who inspire others, break new ground or old barriers and help create positive change.
The series has honoured 97 inspiring women from the Wood Buffalo region, showing young girls positive role models who live right here.

Boucher Partners with Girls Inc.
In February 2019, Bouchier committed $125,000 over five years towards the Women of Inspiration program, Bouchier is committed to recognizing excellence in female leadership in Wood Buffalo.
Over the last ten years, Bouchier and Girls Inc. has maintained a close working partnership by supporting various programs, events and vehicle donations.
